Houston-born artist with BFA and MFA degrees from the University of Houston, has exhibited nationally and internationally. As a painter and printmaker, he collaborated with fine art printshops in Houston, Rome, and Snowmass. An experienced art educator, Smith has taught at various institutions, including the University of Houston and Rice University. His volunteer work includes serving on the boards of DiverseWorks in Houston and the Federal Way Symphony, as well as contributing to the Federal Way Arts Commission and Seattle Art Museum’s Teacher Resource Center.
