Retired from Boeing, Phil founded and served on the executive board of Joseph Foundation transitional homeless shelters in King and Pierce counties. Active on other boards, he has also served as past president of Wayside Church of Christ, Rotary Club of Federal Way, and the Federal Way Chorale.
