July 28 – August 1
Presented by Arts Foundation Federal Way with support from 4Culture and the Federal Way PAEC
Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house she goes… but not without a few detours along the way! Red Riding Hood is the latest whimsical adventure from the Missoula Children’s Theatre. This reimagined tale follows a not-so-little Red and her pre-teen pals as they try to stay on the straight and narrow path. With guidance from a friendly Forest Ranger and the not-so-bad Big Bad Wolf, Red and her crew must avoid the Shadows and navigate unexpected surprises deep in the woods. Along the way, they’ll encounter a too-good-to-be-true Woodsman, a trio of familiar Pigs, a mischievous pack of young wolves, and even a Locksmith with the key to more than just doors. Throw in some rascally Raccoons and a Boy Who Cries—you guessed it—and you’ve got a wild ride full of fun and discovery. With help from her quirky family, Red finds Grandma—and herself. Just don’t ask about the missing picnic basket.
