Arts4Youth – David Engel’s Captain Nemo

April 21, 11:00am at the Federal Way PAEC – LIMITED AVAILABILITY. Register HERE.

Dive into this madcap homage to Jules Verne’s’ famous maritime hero! Captain Nemo himself will entertain, inspire, and challenge your little guppies’ brains while quenching their thirst for knowledge of the Wonders of the Deep. The cantankerous and ever-curious Captain Nemo lives to excite kids about our watery-blue planet with tales of the Giant Squid, the elusive Angler fish and even how whale poop is part of the Cycle of Life!

Arts4Youth programming is sponsored by Arts Foundation Federal Way and 4Culture.

Arts 4 Youth offers a series of fully-produced matinées for K-12 students that align with and support Common Core Standards. We gladly welcome and encourage reservations for K-12 students that attend: public, private, Montessori, or home school settings. Research shows, that arts education strengthens both the intellectual and emotional development of students- reminding us how essential this work is both in and out of the classroom. We understand that it can be difficult to justify a field trip, particularly if it doesn’t feel relevant to your curriculum. This is why we provide additional resources to accompany each play; providing educators opportunities to extend student learning. Ideally, making it easier to have more conversations and lessons about the arts in your classroom and perhaps integrating these lessons with other subject areas!
