SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY!
Dear Friend and Supporter of the Arts,
Arts Foundation Federal Way (AFFW) is pleased to announce its annual fundraising event
“Making an ImPAECt”, Thursday, September 18th, 5:30 pm at the Federal Way Performing
Arts and Event Center. Our honoree this year will be Mary Gates, former Foundation
president, City of Federal Way mayor, and dedicated supporter of the arts in our city.
To make it accessible and convenient for those invited, admission is complimentary.
Entertainment, savory appetizers and beverages will be provided. We will also be providing
our annual update and plans for the forthcoming year.
By sponsoring this event, you will be providing the critical support for art programs enriching
the lives of everyone in our community, particularly those of our youth. AFFW always
appreciates your support as a generous sponsor and supporter and will recognize your
support during the program and throughout our programming year. We certainly hope you
can attend the celebration.
In the last several years, AFFW has helped bring complimentary programs to over 15,000 K-
12th grade students in our Arts 4 Youth program, Summer Theater Camp, Federal Way
Public School Music Festival, free movies and special community events like the US Air
Force Quartet concert, Chalk Festival, Holiday Festivals. We partnered with the city’s Arts
Commission to produce “Arts Explosion” art festival for the past 3 years, which was attended
by over 1,100 people at this free event in 2025.
This year has been a record year in attendance for all of our programs. We need your local
support more than ever as national and regional grant making becomes more competitive.
Thank you for your support and philanthropy. It helps your community in so many ways.
