What an incredible year it has been — and it’s because of you. Thank you for your support and for attending our programs this past year. In 2025, more than 9,000 students and community members participated in the 20 programs we sponsored in collaboration with the Performing Arts and Event Center (PAEC) — a record year for AFFW.
All of these programs were offered free of charge to ensure access for everyone and to enrich the quality of life in Federal Way. Our mission is “to advance and enrich the arts and to build a creative, inclusive and equitable community.” Thanks to you, it’s working.
We know how important it is — especially for our youth — to be exposed to and engaged in the arts. We work to remove barriers so that everyone has the opportunity to experience the benefits of a vibrant cultural community.
From our Arts 4 Youth program and summer theatre camp to music concerts, chalk art events, and holiday festivals, we offer an array of creative experiences that invite community members of all ages to participate, learn, and be inspired.
At the same time, programming costs are increasing and funding is limited. Without your generosity, none of this would have been possible. With attendance growing by more than 100%, the need — and the opportunity — are clear. In 2026, we plan to do even more, but we can’t do it without your help.
AFFW is led by an all-volunteer board that dedicates many hours, in close collaboration with PAEC staff, to make these programs a reality. Each board member also contributes personally every year because we deeply believe in this work. We invite you to join us by making a tax-deductible gift today so we can continue and expand these important programs.
We’ve created a three-minute “Year in Review” video that highlights the impact of your support. We hope you’ll take a moment to watch it.

Thank you for your confidence in Arts Foundation Federal Way. We look forward to your continued support. Please donate today so that we may continue these essential programs — every gift, of any size, truly makes a difference.

With gratitude,
Paul Ishii
Board President
Arts Foundation Federal Way (AFFW)
